If so, the Armada Probus Club may be just the forum for you.

Probus Clubs are non-affiliated, non-sectarian and non-political clubs and membership is open to retired professional and businessmen. The name PROBUS is an abbreviation of PROfessional and BUSiness. It enables members to meet up for a chat, a bite to eat and to listen to a talk on topical or other interesting subjects, usually by a professional speaker or a member of the Club.

The Armada Probus meets monthly at the Effingham Golf Club at Effingham in Surrey to provide a pleasant setting for its members.  Twice a year we invite our ladies to join us for a buffet lunch.

Our membership is currently around 50 members.
